The Mignini&Petrini Group was created in 2007 with the merger of two historic companies in the Italian food industry. However, their separate stories began in the middle of the 19th century with the production of flour and semolina to make pasta for human consumption at their respective mills, Ponte Pasta in Ponte San Giovanni (PG) and at the Petrini mill in Bastia Umbra (PG). In around the 1950s, both companies began to specialise in the production and commercialisation of animal feeds for all types of animals.
